Bruce Lee

Bruce Lee’s master has been murdered by Oolong assassins, on orders from their leader – Fei Won. Fei Won and Master were best friends, and top students at their school. Unfortunately, Won took to a life of crime, as the head of the Oolong cartel. Hockey fans all over the World are disappointed with the latest news announcing that the 04/05 National Hockey League season has been cancelled. While fingers of blame are being pointed all over, the simple fact is that due to the lockout, any hopes of watching a live exciting hockey game played at the highest professional level just flew out the window. Hockey fans like me are left out in the cold and have to watch replays just to get our regular hockey fix.

Since the NHL season has been called off, hockey fans all over the World are probably looking for something to give them their hockey fix. There are games available both on the PC and the various next generation consoles. Mobile hockey games are few and far between, and those that are available are seriously lacking in quality. HPL is an adequate hockey game to play around with. However those seeking more depth and realism in their hockey games are better off playing hockey in their Xbox or PS2.

About Bubu 2 Power Pants...

Soon after his escape from the psychiatric hospital, Bubu (see: Bubu - The Great Escape game) has serious troubles. He has run out of money. While drinking in a galactic bar with Mr. Schizoo they had a bright idea. Using the mysterious, legendary Power Pants that give extreme powers to the one wearing them, they decided to fight in Intergalactic Boxing Championship and win the prize. Now Bubu must go and find the legendary item. Only the old Monk knows where the Power Pants are hidden, but will not reveal his secret easily. First Bubu must fulfill his missions and bring him the items he demands. The land through which Bubu travels is dangerous. It is infested with hungry Cannibals, deadly sundews, and thorny Rhinos but also sharp spikes and deep abysses. Cleverness from the player is welcomed. There are different ways in which the enemies can be defeated. For example you can irritate peaceful rhinos by showing them your ass, and they will turn into a deadly weapon, demolishing everything in their way. Help Bubu to find what he is looking for!

A fun and faithful adaptation of the arcade classic. Not a lot of skill

I was a huge Samurai Shodown fan and really enjoyed playing the arcade
version when it came out way back when. After seeing that it was
available for my phone I had to get it and reminisce about the carefree
days of my youth when Streetfighter, Samurai Shodown and Mortal Kombat took up most of my time.

The graphics are really nice, they are quite faithfully adapted from
the original albeit a little smaller. The weapons look good also. The
backgrounds are lush and colourful. One slight drawback is that the
special move animation or large slash animation doesn't look that
great. The arcade version had a very satisfying feel when you performed
a huge slash on someone and sufficient amounts of blood and this is an
area the graphics are lacking. Everything is well done though including
the main screen with the cherry blossoms falling in the background.
The game is in Spanish version but very easy to play.

DragonIsland By Macrospace

Dragon Island has been one of Macrospace’s most successfully downloaded titles to date. Originally made for lower end phones, it has been graphically revamped to take advantage of more powerful handsets while maintaining the same engine that made it so successful the first time around.

As the story goes, after a thousand years of peace and prosperity, an ancient evil dormant in the fiery depths of Dragon Island has re-awoken. Demons sowing despair and destruction have begun moving towards the kingdom, led by an evil dragon. The king has dispatched his most valiant warrior, an axe-wielding Theobald Blade, on a mission to strike down the demons and slay the dragon.

A platform-style game, Dragon Island features nine levels of jumping obstacles, climbing ropes, hurling axes and most importantly, precise movements. There are a number of power-ups to collect along the way, including armor, and collecting fruit scattered throughout will result in extra lives. The wide range of enemies includes jumping fish, shooting flowers, crawling bugs and attacking demons.
